教学札记:Giant Script

I was so surprise when my Year Three pupil showed me this "giant script".

That was how I trained them for Malay poem recitation and story telling. I wrote the script on poster paper. I differentiated the syllabus in black/blue and red. Then, I pasted the script on the wall. Each pupil stood in front of the script respectively to practice their story.

But, this year I stop doing that because (1) they can read very well now (2) I'm lazy.

This diligent girl (she refused to be shown in this photo) took initiative to produce this "giant script" in a day. She recycled the old exercise book and combined the papers. She wrote her story with magic pen in blue ( which is her favorite colour).

I remember that she was very shy to say even a word at the beginning of Year One. But now she always talk to me in Malay.

Ying Ying, I am proud of you. And, thank you because today you have remind me an important thing, i.e. a teacher is a role model. Pupils copy what teachers did. Thus, does what I did give positive impact to them?~~ I confess that there are always rooms to improve.
